Bachelor of Public Health

Bachelor of Public Health of Purbanchal University is a four years course which aims to preparecompetent graduates with advanced knowledge with the practical skills necessary to deliver high quality public health services needed for the country. It also aims to prepare professional public health specialist with appropriate technical and managerial competent required for district level health programs which include but not limited to problem identification, Planning, implantation, Training, Health education, and Health research.

Requirement for admission and selection criteria

The applicant must have Certificate Level in general medicine or any other certificate level in health sciences or intermediate or 10+2 with biology with second division in aggregate.

The applicant must pass the Entrance Examination conducted by Purvanchal University.

 

Enrolment Capacity& Duration:

40 students/year. The course has total of 4 years duration with a semester system academia

 

Course Structure:

The program follows the credit system. Each course is assigned a certain number of credits depending generally upon its lecture, tutorial and practical work hours in a week. In theory subjects, one lecture per week is assigned one credit as a general rule.
